«©NCSX» Put a band in your hand with Nintendo's new Wii Music which transforms the Wii Remote and Nunchuk into one of 60+ instruments. By waving the nunchuk and remote and/or manipulating them in certain ways, players make beautiful music with up to five band members. The ability to implement improvisations galore during a jam session is also accommodated by the software.
Instruments that may be played include a guitar, piano, violin, drums, a sitar, the vibrophone, a tambourine, trumpet, and many more. We're hoping that the cowbell is also featured because you can never have enough cowbell. Over 50 music selections are included in the game including the Super Mario theme song, "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," "From the New World," "Yankee Doodle Dandy," the Overture to Carmen, and the theme song from the F-Zero Mute City stage. Up to four players may jam together at once but in a six man band, the computer handles two of the band mates. Software features include a virtual drum kit which utilizes the Wii Balance Board and the Nunchuk and another mode which allows the player to conduct an orchestra.
Region Lock-out
Please note Japanese Wii games will not boot on
USA or European Wii consoles due to the inherent region-lockout on Japanese Wii game discs. A Freeloader (and a Wii with 3.2U firmware) is required to play Japanese Wii games.
