«©NCSX» Nintendo celebrates Mario's 25th Anniversary this year and they've announced a few products to commemorate the event already. Console-wise, there's only one Mario 25th Anniversary product and it's the crimson-tinted console seen to the left. Buyers who are courageous enough to pay the piper will get a Wii encased in red plastic, a red Remote and Nunchuk, and special Mario 25th anniversary packaging.
NCS is undecided on whether or not we'll keep one for our Mario vault in the basement. We wanted a Nintendo console that's colored red and blue to match Mario's overalls and shirt. Maybe we'll get our wish on Mario's 30th anniversary.
