NCS Sale of the Week Offering: May 18, 2009
Original Release in Japan: December 14, 1990
«©NCSX» New and factory sealed Violent Soldier (HuCARD) for the PC-Engine which was released roughly 2 decades ago. NCS' remaining inventory is in excellent condition but please note that the shrinkwrap is somewhat "ribbed" on the edges due to years in storage (see photos).
Violent Soldier
During times of war, soldiers are generally not peaceful. They're violent. Thus the term, "Violent Soldier" is a bit redundant. The game was released in 1990 when shooters were a dime a dozen and VS is a fairly routine affair with power-ups and side-shields to collect, enemies to shoot down, and somewhat interesting stages to fly through.
Sale Offering: Pricing per copy of Violent Soldier is set at US$32.90 each. If you reside in the USA, you may select USPS Media Mail shipping on our shop which is about $2.50. International customers are encouraged to select USPS First Class Airmail at a cost of approximately US$10 to most destinations.

Sega's conversion of Thunder Blade isn't exactly a 1:1 conversion but it's not too bad. When flying over the buildings in the first stage, every edifice is rickety and the backgrounds are extremely sparse but the game play itself is alright.
