NCS Product Synopsis
Update: August 28, 2003
«©NCSX» Japanese songstress Maaya Sakamoto belts out the theme song "Kimidori" for Taito's latest interaction-adventure game. When the lead character in Shirachuu Tankenbu reaches university and sets off on the next major part of his life, he reverses course when he receives a postcard from home and feels a bit of nostalgia. Yearning for old memories amd friends, he returns to his hometown. Seeking out old school chums from his past, protag hopes to relive those golden years and recover spotty childhood memories (in cinematic episodes which may be collected and reviewed) before moving on with his life and transitioning to adulthood.
Played in flick-action sequences, Shirachuu Tankenbu offers up beautiful artwork and a quaint storyline to delve into. Famitsu Magazine apparently found the material worthy, granting the game a solid 30/40 ranking in this week's issue.
