Naruto Narutimett Hero - Best

Naruto and eleven other characters from the popular manga/animation series bout it out in rabid fighting action across a Story Mode, Versus Mode, and an objective-filled Mission Mode. Staying true to the original story and each fighter's techniques and fighting mechanics, Narutimett Hero features recognizable special attacks and unique scrapping styles for each fighter.

NCS Game Notes
* The intro to the game shows the various fighters as they pose for the camera and eventually rush into battle. Key scenes from the television series are also featured.

* During the initial loading sequence, Rock Lee performs push-ups. In the options selection screen, Naruto sweats profusely while holding up the weight of the options scrolls.

* The story is told through animated manga scenes where the panels show an animated Naruto or other character speaking and acting out.

* Naruto's first battle is against Kakashi on a 2D battlefield. Although the environment is 3D, Naruto is limited to sideways movement as he takes on his teacher. There are two areas however - the foreground and the background. To travel to either area, press up or down on the L-Analog and tap the "X" button. The "O" button is used to attack while the ""TRIANGLE" activates Naruto's chakra, and the "SQUARE" button throws out stars. Naruto jumps when the "X" button is pushed. To guard against an attack, hit either the L2 or R2 trigger. During the battle, observers in the background such as Rock Lee will jump in and attack either player randomly.

* After defeating Kakashi, Naruto moves on to a battle against his archrival Sasuke. The boys duke it out in a market square where a number of shops are situated and a couple of onlookers stare as the fighters jump through the foreground and background areas. In addition to fighting while standing on the ground, Naruto and Sasuke may also jump on ropes that are strung across the level and fight on them. The battle later shifts to an area with two treetops on the left and right of the screen.

* If Naruto is victorious against Sasuke, he'll face Neji (guy with headband and long hair strands on the left of right of his face) and a thing on the back of his head. He sounds like a girl and his face is androgynous. Wears kabuki mask and shows off claw blades in his left hand in the manganimation intro to the level. The battle takes place on a wharf of some sort where a loader is lifting boxes and a boat below is anchored and apparently waiting for something. Enemy attacks with a special move where a bunch of spikes rain down on Naruto and give him a bunch of hurt as Naruto cringes.

* Naruto Narutimate Hero has great control. The quality of the game is easily felt by the way the characters respond and move to the player's Dual Shock tugs and button taps.
