«©NCSX» Eschewing the tactical strategy sequences found in previous Sakura Taisen games entirely, the latest in the popular franchise delves deeper into the interaction genre than it's ever gone before. Utilizing the LIPS engine, characters move their mouths in near-perfect harmony to the audible words.
The storyline takes place six months after the events in Sakura Taisen 4 and Paris is the geographic focal point. The Paris Kagekidan introduced in Sakura Taisen 3 provides the main characters in the game and players may enjoy new interludes with Erica Fontaine, Glycine Bleumer and the rest of the gang. Oogami Ichiro no longer serves as the main protagonist and a sleuth by the name of Kojirou Akechi shows up as the new male lead.
Asian version vs Japan version
The only difference between the Asian and Japanese version of PS2 software is the distribution mark on the back of the DVD insert. The Asian version includes a Japanese game DVD and a Japanese instruction manual. As an added bonus, the Asian version includes an English quick-start guide which reveals the controls in the game.

Region Lock-out
