NCS Preorder Synopsis
Update: March 16, 2011
«©NCSX» Norse mythology tells of how Odin traveled to Mimir's Well under the guise of a vagabond named Vegtam the Wanderer. Odin wanted to drink from the Well but was forced to sacrifice an eye to do so. Upon drinking from the well, Odin gained knowledge of all things and of what would come to pass. After Odin drank, Mimir placed Odin's eye in the depths of the well as a testament of his sacrifice for wisdom.
Odin's the inspiration for the second Movie Masterpiece figure based on the upcoming Thor theatrical film. The god of gods is depicted as an old man who looks like British actor Anthony Hopkins (who plays Odin in the movie) and wears an eyepatch over his right eye. The articulated figure is garbed in "armor" and measures 30cm tall. A red cape is draped behind the figure so that he looks dashing. Old-man-dashing, but dashing nonetheless. Accessories include a lance, helmet, and five extra hands.
