«©NCSX» Originally released on the Playstation One as a part of D3 Publisher's Simple 1500 series of games, the company pushes out another release of their puzzle solving game and throws in 10 new scenarios for jaded gamers to enjoy. The Doko Demo Suiri contains a total of 58 scenarios from the original PS1 game where players are presented with a mystery or puzzle and have to solve it by way of deduction and cognitive reasoning. Situations may be observed, witnesses interrogated, and evidence glommed over to build a profile of the mystery at hand.
In addition to the original 58 Playstation scenarios which are broken up into three categories on the title screen, ten new PSP exclusive situations are included which feature new events and conditions. The scenarios range from straightforward mysteries to tear-jerkers which may cause a gamer to dab a tear from his or her left eye. Whereas the original PS1 game featured no vocals, the PSP remake brims with full voice acting as one makes it through the various events and interacts with supporting cast members. The character graphics and backgrounds have also been updated and crisped-up for the screen of the PSP.
Due to the large amount of Japanese text in the game, NCS recommends this particular title only if you are able to read Japanese. Trial and error could possibly solve the scenarios but you'd wouldn't enjoy the stories.
