NCS Product Synopsis
Update: July 1, 2010
«©NCSX» A little over half a year after the coin-op debut of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift in arcades across Japan, Arc System targets the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 with home conversions of their recent 2D fighting game. Fighters like Ragna, Jin, Noel, and the rest of the gang are joined by two new playable characters - a dapper man in black named Hazama and a ginger-haired soldier named Tsubaki Yayoi. A third new character named µ 12 (Mu Twelve) makes her exclusive debut in the home conversions of the game. Arc Systems promises the online mode will run smoother with less network lag than it did in the original BlazBlue.
BBCS features three new game modes: Beginner Mode, Tutorial Mode, and Challenge Mode. The first two are self-explanatory and Challenge Mode allows elite players to use character-specific combinations and engage in missions. The online mode is open to everyone which means that players from around the world can fight each other for global supremacy. Matches between other players can also be watched by online viewers who are interested in learning from others and honing their craft.
