«©NCSX» Join a new hero named Edda who aspires to the occupation of Hunter and goes on missions for the rewards and bounties that they pay. Two comrades in arms join Edda - a rotund human named Hemo and a girl named Kirika.
Arc the Lad Generation takes the brand in a new direction where the fighting scenes are now fought in real time action. Hack and slash as monsters are encountered instead of choosing simulated attacks from a menu. In addition to standard attacks, a dodge move is available as well as an assortment of magic attacks. A versatile camera pans in and out of the action in fluid motion as the action runs hot. Card battling also takes place where cards may be flipped out to enhance skills or used to perform special attacks
A new feature in Arc the Lad Generation is an online mode where up to 4 adventurers may collaborate on a quest or battle it out in a action-packed free for all. Although the back of the Asian software packaging reads "Online mode is not available in Asia," this only refers to the fact that native game servers are not available in Asian territories. You will need to connect to Sony's Japanese servers in order to enjoy online mode.
